getting the most out of summer...





Coast Guard Festival 2011

We love to go the last day of the festival to watch the fireworks.
This year was no different...
amazing ships,
Butches Beach Burritos,
playing in the lake,
frisbee on the beach,
crafting on a beach blanket,
picnicing out of the back of the car,
telling stories of summers past...

    Hi there Theresa! What awesome pics!! Can you believe summer is almost over? This humidity has been the pits! What were you guys crafting on the blanket?     WOW, I admire you for braving all the traffic and crowds! We have friends who have a condo right on Harbor drive and have partied there for fireworks. Didn't make it this year. Hope they were great.

    Looks like a fun time. Lots of people so I'm sure there was some wonderful people watching too. One of my favorite past times when I go to places with lots of people.

    Our Middle School principal and his wife are from Grand Haven. Zack told me that their son just posted on Facebook about being at Coast Guard Festival ... and then he proceeded to tell me that if we had gone to the States this year, we could have been there too. :/
