insert clapping and dancing here...

So I need to ask... on Wednesday did any of you hear a very shrill, loud squeal followed by crazy clapping and maybe a little vibrating under you feet from the world famous happy dance?

cuz, that's what happened when I found this beauty at the local GW...

are you ready?

well are you?

o.k. I was soooooo excited to show it to you, I didn't even clean it up before I took the pictures!

or rehang all of the crystals that are in weird places and just haphazardly hanging off of it

you understand, right?

It's been a couple of crazy days around here and so no time to clean it, because I was cleaning a 12 year olds bedroom, and we all know what kind of time that takes!  To be fair, Hannah cleaned her room, but then I CLEANED her room!
and then I had to work, but I knew you'd want to see it!

I digress, is that not a great find?  I have not shared a great find in a really long time, and well I knew you'd be happy for me!

now where should it go? hmmmmmmm

Have a fabulous weekend!
Will you be treasure hunting?

Theresa xoxo

  6. I wondered what that noise was! You're starting the year off right! Lucky duck! I don't know about you, but I almost never run up on a good chandelier like that except in shops or priced way to high at the sales.

  9. You have been busy! Your rabbit's the best! Great chandelier! Haven't found anything yet that has been "happy dance" worthy, just that involuntary suck in of air that embarrasses you in front of anyone close enough to hear.

  10. You definitely get the award for the best find of the week at a GW!! That chandelier is awesome and I want to see pictures when it finds it's new home.
I would have been squealing too (and knocking over anyone in my way) if I saw that at a thrift store.
    Have a great weekend.

  17. Wow, congratulations! That's a great find, especially for a Goodwill. It makes me want to get out there and shop today instead of take pictures and list things on Etsy. Hmmmm.....

  20. First off, I want to thank you for all your sweet comments you leave me and I'm really trying to make more timeto return them.

Secondly, no way you found this beauty at the GW. I've never seen anything remotely this fabulous at my local stores. Actually, lately there isn't anything good and I'm not even stopping in as often as I used to. They are listing anything old online in an auction:(

Great find! I'm sure you'll findthe perfect place for it.

I'd be going crazy too if I found that at our GW. Nothing fabulous there .....or at least when I've been.
It could go anywhere. Can't wait to see where you place it.

  28. Love it, and I toally understand. I could hear a big Yippee all the way over here. (winds out of the east that day...)

Have a WONDERFUL birthday! I hope you are pampered all day long. And I am heading out to Walmart to get me some towels to put into a jar over here. I am always on the lookout for ulitarion things to store in jars, and I am not digging the paper towel thing anymore.
