Theresa I hope yours was wonderful. Ours was great! I have to tell you how much I LOVE your front porch. I smiled when I saw your floursack (or sugar) hanging on the wall. I have one that I have done that with too and thought I was so clever to think of it.LOL! Okay so there are two clever girls that think very much alike. heehee! But I imagine you are so much more clever than me...I see it everythime I come here. sending big hugs...
What a sweet picture! We ALL had the same idea! I am tucking my bookmark into my special Bible too! It matches it perfectly! My Bible is pale pink! & Theresa...your sautering is BEAUTIFUL! You really do a great job! You make it seem easy :) & when I was admiring all of your packaging it made me smile to think of you sitting there in a pile of ribbons, brown paper bags, & doilies with you hot glue gun just going to town! I am smililng again just thinking of it! Oh & my sidewalk is ALL filled up with pretty pictures thanks to the Easter Chalk! We sure had fun yesterday!
First and foremost I am a girl that is all about family, when I am not taking care of the people I love here @ the old white house, I am creating art out of found objects and hunting for treasures, digging in the dirt and hope that what I planted will actually grow, sewing (especially with vintage fabric), decorating our home, and laughing out loud! (the last one is pretty important to me!) I am a stay at home mom with only 2 of my 5 kids still in the nest. I have an etsy shop ~ where I sell my altered art and all kinds of creations that pop into my head along with my handcrafted laundry soap and vintage finds and extra supplies. I am so thrilled that you stopped by for a visit, come by anytime, the door is always open! (just ignore the mess o.k.?) love, t. xoxoxooxox
I wish you and your family a blessed and happy Easter.
