White Wednesday!!

Good Morning! This is my spring... a beautiful plant (that I have managed to keep alive for a week now!) in front of a window full of sunshine! YAY SPRING! The snow is gone and I can see all of the hyacinths and tulips that I planted 2 years ago poking through the ground. Last year was an ok year for them so I'm hoping that this year they fill in more. I LOVE SPRING!! I had this crown 1/2 done hanging on the wall for awhile now and when D. gave me the sign with the same saying for Christmas I new what I wanted this to say. Whatever is noble, right, pure, lovely... think on these things. Phil. 4:8 I thought that was truly appropriate for the crowns base. And ofcourse, gotta love the mercury glass bird!
Before I hear... Hey that's from her last post! Teacher, Theresas CHEATING!!! I had to show you the egg with a little primrose in it on the mantel for Easter. Isn't that better? Fake Flowers be Gone!!! :)

There, now there's a little spring in the dining room too!!

I actually had another post started but my computer wouldn't cooperate last night and then this morning I realized it was Wednesday and you know what that means... White Wednesday hosted by Kathleen at Faded Charm! Thank you Kathleen! You won't want to miss out on this so look around your house, I gotta believe you got SOMETHING white in there, and join the party!! Or just go on over and see the beautiful posts that everyone shares for WW.
Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by, Theresa xoxo

  1. Love how you arragned your white daisys in the silver then stacked on even more silver....beautiful!! Adorable use of the measureing tape to make a crown too!

  2. I always love stopping by and seeing the beautiful projects that you post. I love the flower in the silver bowl and the mix of some shiny silver with some tarnished silver with the display.
I'm also so loving the crown. I've made a crown out of a tape measure before but never added anything to it. The addition of the burlap and the quote and the little bird was perfect! I am stealing this idea :-)
    Happy WW!

  3. I am with you on the spring thing. I can't wait for a nice spring day to go and spend the day wandering through the antique shops in Mason! Love that crown! I gotta find me one or make one. It is so cute. Love the flowers too. I could probably see the flowers starting to poke their heads up if I got the old stuff out of the beds. Maybe a project for this weekend.

  4. I love how you did your crown, super cute! Enjoy the warmer weather and the new season!!

  5. Hi Theresa,

I love the mix of burlap and vintage jewelry and paper and primrose, so many favorite things altogether in one display!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, it was nice to "meet" you:-)

  6. Everything is just lovely Theresa! I've seen stars made out of those great old rulers, but never a crown. I'm in love!
    Happy Spring!

  7. I am so not plant friendly, someone who doesn't know me gave me a Orchid for my birthday, UGH, even the thought of trying to take care of it was a chore. I had to give it away to someone who wouldn't kill it.
Totally love the crown, I have been meaning to make one forever and YOU gave me the inspiration, Thanks!

  8. You did a good job on the mantle. I like the crown. Have a good day......Julian

  12. What's not to love here? The way you used the crown is an awesome idea, and the scripture verse, perfect. Love the egg vase with the burlap rosette with the pearly bling. It all looks wonderful!
