It was gorgeous here yesterday so my hubby, Duane, and I went for a good long walk around our town. We are very fortunate to live in a small town that has a paved trail around the perimeter of the town. It follows the two rivers that run through here. So as we take our walks we see deer, rabbits, and the river almost the entire walk. Check out the bench to Ds' right they are placed through out the trail for a little rest and some contemplation. Usually we walk the smaller loop that starts near our house (2 miles) but today we had the time to do a little longer walk(just over 3 miles) but this one wasn't plowed like ours usually is... still it was a nice change of scenery...

Check out the bark on this tree, and beautiful blue winter skies!
One of our two bridges that are now only open to pedestrians, we have one more right in the center of town that still allows vehicles, I just love them.

This old barn has been preserved and now hosts our farmers market during the summer. It's really a wonderful market especially given the size of our little town. On the last Saturday of the month we also do a "boot sale" along with the usual vegies, fruits and baked goods! Definitely one of my favorite things to do in the warmer weather, get our fresh produce then off to a few garage sales!

Just wanted to share a little glimpse of the quaint place we live in. These walks have been wonderful for us, sometimes the kids come along-Max will come out every time during mulberry season as there are wild bushes on the trail- usually on bikes or skateboards in the summer but every once in a while we can convince them to come out for this! They would still rather go sledding in the snow than walk in it though! Have a fabulous Monday! ~ Theresa xoxo
