it's show time!

The Vintage Green Antiques store in Grand Haven, MI.
is our first official show of the season,
and I am pretty excited to make my way to one of my
favorite MI. cities!

I will have our space full of our lavender goodness of course...

perfect timing for all of your spring cleaning needs!

Let's not forget about the baubles...

perfect for all of those spring birthday gifts you may be on the look out for!

I'm having a little love affair with the vintage buffalo/Indian head coins
I now have in my stash... they give a soulfulness to everything I add them to.

Plus I will have my soldered marbles, a fan favorite!

Another fan favorite is our new diffuser pendants,
complete with a vial of our French Grosso Lavender oil.
Perfect for those days when you need to
have a bit of aromatherapy for peace and calming
at your disposal.

I have those days, don't you?
I just love these necklaces, each one had a bead or dangling from the locket,
and they handle the request that many
of my customers have said about our sachets...

"I wish I could just smell this all day"

well, now you can!

I hope to see you at the Pop-UP shop!

to market, to market...

This Saturday we kick off our 2014 season at
The Detroit Eastern Market!
We will be inside shed 5
and can't wait to go back and visit with our new friends there.

In the traveling art gypsy life,
seasons  are measured by shows along the way,
and the  wares that you bring.
In my suitcase I will have ~

baubles for Valentines Day...

  our new lavender soy candles...

the entire line up of lavender goodness...

shadowbox pendants...

along with these sweet little leather journals...
perfect for writing about the love of your life.

They all make wonderful Valentines gifts for those you love!

Today will be filled with getting the goods
ready to go.  It's the first day back to school
for the kids since Christmas break started!
Lots of snow here, and really cold, so I moved a table
(that is right now full of bauble makings)
into the living room to work in front of the fireplace and the tv...
and since they left for school
it will also be the first time that I have watched something just for me while I work.
hmmmmm
netflix no longer carries Downton Abbey
so what should I watch?
suggestions?

I hope to see you Saturday,
but if you can't make it and would like any of the above items
just send me a note or visit my website

and I will get you all taken care of!

Have a warm and fabulous day!
love,

snow day, snowed in sale...

We have been getting snow for the last few days,
and it is really gorgeous outside!
Truthfully, I've been watching it through the window,
next to a space heater,
or in front of the fireplace,
drinking hot chocolate...
I like mine with instant coffee and maybe a peppermint stick.

I fell in love with the hot chocolate bars that were all over blogland last year,
and this year since the buffet was moved from my workroom
back to the dining room, I finally have one for us!
I had one old sled left, after selling one and giving another away,
so I put it on top and added some skates, a scale with small platters
for the cookies that will be added closer to Christmas,
and all the fixings for yummy hot chocolate!
When Hannah walked in the door,
she instantly asked if she could have a sledding party with her friends,
so that they could see it!
yup, totally worth it!

Max - Keeper of the Flame.
After Cameron moved out, Max took over the roll
of keeping a fire going in the fireplace.
He takes it very seriously,
and knows how happy he makes everyone with his
fire building skills.
so sweet.

As the seasons change, so has our booth...
we have gone from this - all green and sunshiny,

to this... still sunny,  but pretty chilly!
These were taken at the Detroit Eastern Market
where we have been going on Saturdays.
We dress in many layers, and put hand warmers in our boots,
and hang a curtain to block out the wind,
and have a really good time!
The market, like most farmers markets, has a rhythm of it's own...
you can feel the happiness that it brings people!

This brings me to our sale ~

Duane and I tried to make it to the market this past Saturday,
but the roads were pretty bad.
We got about 30 miles or so and  decided to turn around.
I mean, we have kids to take care of!
On the way home, we thought about our car load
of goods that we made through the week and into Friday night,
and came up with a brilliant plan to have a sale!

Everyday through Friday I will be posting jewelry,
and surprise goodies that are ready to be shipped at a moments notice!
We are also including our
drum roll please...

shop update...

late night shopkeeping...

After I got home tonight from selling the goods
at the Detroit Eastern Market,
I quickly fell asleep.
Most likely midsentence.
When I awoke a few hours later,
I couldn't go back to sleep.
So here I am to fill you in on some new items we have been working on
 for your gift giving pleasure...

This summer I found these scoops for our lavender laundry soap,
I 'scooped' up a bunch to include with our listing of soap.
why,you ask?
Because they are the perfect size and so crazy cute!

Another new listing is what we like to refer to as our
extreme lavender cleaning bundle.
You get one of each of our lavender laundry and cleaning products,
plus that crazy cute scoop,
all tucked into a handstamped cloth bag...
all for $40.00 plus shipping!

These items make fabulous
Christmas presents, hostess gifts, wedding gifts,
so give it all to those you love
or save some for yourself...
there's enough in the bag to share!

you can find them here...
(the etsy shop)

and here

(squareup)

Plus because I have so much time on my hands
and because our customers ask if we can include
candles in our line of lavender goodness
I have recently made some of these for your gift giving as well...
french lavender essential oil soy candle
in a 8 oz. reusable glass jar
with a sparkly glass glitter clay star
tied on with jute twine
handmade a batch at a time
by me
for you.

(these will be listed by Monday, as I need to take a few more pics)

Thanks for stopping by!
t. xoxo

WOW 2 posts in a weeks time...
I should stay up all night more often!
but that wouldn't be good for anyone involved
over here at the old white house!
