weekend plans...

The forecast is calling for sunny skies in the early part of the day tomorrow, which is perfect,
because you will be able to find us here at the

actually right about in this area, between Sheds 2&3
in front of the Welcome Center.

We will have lots and lots of this,
our natural lavender laundry and cleaning provisions

and these,
our lavender soy candles,

can't forget the repurposed art jewelry,
aka: the baubles.

After the market, for the rest of the weekend,
you can find me here...

here

still here,

here,

riding the trails with this guy,

and ending my days here
with the same guy...

and of course taking time from our weekend to remember
the reason for the day...
to honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice so that we can
do all of the things I mentioned above.

I hope that you have a wonderful weekend,
Happy Memorial Day!
love,
t.xoxo

1 dock + 4x4 = Fabulous Table!

Yesterday was a great day! This table that I have dreamed about has finally taken shape! Sooo I had the idea to make this really long table for our patio area so that we could all sit together for dinner (we've been using 2 tables or some would sit on the couch) the table tops I thought would work just did not for one reason or another. Then last week while dumping some weeds down our back hill I came across a long overlooked dock that was given to us a few years ago.

Perfect! I had a 4x4 stashed from a project that again... didn't h
appen. Well put them together with some help from our wonderful neighbors and there you have it. The most fabulous outdoor table ever!!! I LOVE IT! All 8 chairs fit around it with the extra 2 at the ends. I think I will have to look for a couple of other end chairs though, these sit too low and aren't really made for the outdoors.

See this ring? It's for holding your boat... we were thinking that maybe we would use it to secure Max to his seat so he would eat all of his dinner! (My neighbors idea I swear!)
This table is our table where we put out the dishes, and condiments or food. It works so well.
This picture is a little grainy, sorry, I wanted to take pics before it got so dark but we were relaxing at the table and visiting and well time got away from me. I am hoping for many more nights just like that ( minus the mosquitos)
So there you have it, 1 dock, 1 4x4 and help from some wonderful friends = 1 fabulous table!

Thanks for stopping by, Theresa xoxo

I'm linking this up to Boardwalk Bragfest, and Saturday Night Special, and DIY Showoff
and Transformation Thursday.
