weekend plans...

The forecast is calling for sunny skies in the early part of the day tomorrow, which is perfect,

because you will be able to find us here at the 

Detroit Eastern Market

actually right about in this area, between Sheds 2&3

in front of the Welcome Center.

We will have lots and lots of this,

our natural lavender laundry and cleaning provisions

and these,

our lavender soy candles,

can't forget the repurposed art jewelry,

aka: the baubles.

After the market, for the rest of the weekend,

riding the trails with this guy,

and ending my days here

with the same guy...

and of course taking time from our weekend to remember

the reason for the day...

to honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice so that we can

do all of the things I mentioned above.

I'm thankful for it everyday.  

Taking our natural lavender laundry and cleaning products,

to markets and shows is something that still seems like a dream.

(a dream where I work very hard... but a dream nonetheless.)

Repurposing the forgotten little pieces of someone's long ago story

into jewelry for someones new story...

 something as simple as a beloved dog's tag,

a reclaimed memory of someone's best friend...

into a necklace for a special dog lover.

Each small piece of our history inspires me 

to create a sparkly something special for you to wear.

I draw inspiration from the rusty, crusty, sparkly, shiny, 

 the natural, earth formed gems, and our past.

...and then there's this -

our incredibly fresh scented, hard working

natural lavender goodness.
